To this day, I cannot express what this word means to me or how to feel about it. Let me explain. This blog is my story. The story of my 4 year battle thinking I had a disease called gastroparasis, thinking that any day I was not going to be able to fight anymore. Waiting for the day that it would all be over and I would not suffer anymore. |

When I thought about my battle being over, in my wildest dreams I would have never imagined that that would mean a cure! A diagnosis that was easily treated and has given me my life back. A diagnosis that gave me back time with my daughter, my husband, my step daughters, my family. This is my story. I hope that you enjoy reading it and are able to see how important it is to be your own advocate when it comes to your health. |
Very nice, Lisa. This brings tears to my eyes.
This is the greatest, I remember those moments very vividly. Even today, I jump when the phone rings and I see your number. God Bless, and I love you.
You are an inspiration. There have been many prayers said for you.
Here’s to your continued GREAT health!!
I hope you know that you are my HERO for so many reasons – especially when you talk about advocating for your own healthcare! I feel honored to call you a friend, and I hope you know that you are one of the strongest people I have ever met.
Thank you for being an inspiration to others who are fighting in their own lives!
